We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and people-oriented professional to join our leadership support team as School Operations & HR Manager.

The successful candidate will work closely with the HR Director, Operations Director and Principals to ensure the smooth coordination of our people, administrative systems and day-to-day school operations.

We are looking for someone who has both HR and school operations experience and understands the unique needs of an educational environment.

Description

The candidate is responsible for:

Support the HR Director with recruitment, onboarding, staff records, leave, attendance, performance management and employee relations.
Coordinate and monitor day-to-day school operations and administrative activities.
Support the Principals with staff coordination, school programmes, events and operational matters.
Supervise designated administrative and operations staff and support staff performance and development.
Monitor procurement, inventory, school supplies and service providers.
Support the implementation of school policies, procedures, safety and compliance systems.
Monitor facilities, maintenance and the general school environment, ensuring issues are followed up and resolved.
Maintain accurate HR, student, attendance and operational records.
Prepare reports, maintain trackers and ensure that actions assigned by leadership are followed through to completion.
Identify operational and staff-related challenges and recommend practical solutions and improvements.
Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, parents, vendors and school leadership to promote an efficient and professional school environment.

 

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Management, Education, Administration or a related field, with 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably within a school or educational institution.
